Case 07 - Wildlife photography portfolio
VH
A dark, gallery-like portfolio where wildlife photographs do all the talking.
01 - Problem
A photographer's work deserves a gallery, but most portfolio templates squeeze it into tiny thumbnails and busy grids.
The photographer sells prints and takes commissions. On the old site the images were cropped, slow to load and surrounded by noise, so the work never felt as powerful as it is.
02 - Solution
A quiet, dark gallery with one image, one title and one short story per series.
Near-black backgrounds, generous margins and small italic serif titles turn each series into an exhibition room. Images load fast and full size, and print inquiries sit one step away.
03 - Outcome
